Bon Iver - Flume

Bon Iver's music is pure, raw, beautiful emotion. The mastermind behind the music, and the founder of the band first found the inspiration for his style of song in the music of John Prine. He began to write and record the songs that became For Emma, when he moved into his father's hunting cabin in the wilderness of Wisconsin. Broke, he made the move from North Carolina to the remote cabin after the breakup of his first band, DeYarmond Edison, and his breakup with his girlfriend. Here he found the melancholy, ghostly, voice of his music.
